Meet Our Staff

Kathy Davenport-Clark, Executive Director

Mother of 5, wife, entrepreneur, community leader, and matriarch. Kathy is also the “Godmother” to many in her community and beyond displaying her love and passion for helping build others up. She began Heaven's Blessings Inc in October of 2004. Since opening she has been striving to improve the over all quality of health of the elderly and disabled persons in her community. She graduated with her Masters in Social Work on May 11, 2011. Kathy has experience working with children, troubled teens, family therapy, adults, as well as the elderly. She has worked in various settings such as schools, courts, group homes, and detention centers, just to name a few. Mrs. Kathy believes, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Destiny Calhoun, MS Program Manager

Ms. Destiny has been with HBI since April 2012 as a direct service worker (DSW). Over the years she has climbed the ranks to achieve the role she has today. In January 2019, Ms. Destiny was promoted to Program Manager after obtaining her Master's Degree in Recreational Therapy from Southern University A&M College. Over the past 10+ years Ms. Destiny has obtained much experience working with individuals, both children and adults, who have various disabilities such as mental, physical, social, behavioral, and emotional disabilities. She also has experience with individuals who have substance abuse issues as well as treated and cared for individuals who have previously served, Veterans. She has worked in a variety of settings ranging from schools to hospitals.

Angie Cambrice, Lead Facilitator

Ms. Angie has been with HBI since August 2014. She has acquired multiple degrees such as Accounting and Certified Nursing Assistant from Northwest Vocational College, as well as Medical Office Management from Maxine Waters Employment Preparation College. She has a love and compassion for helping others. In her off time she is still working diligently in the community assisting the elderly and disabled. She has many certificates of recognition for her hard work in the medical health field.
